Sea Otters; as the only 2 sea otters in the UK, Ozzy & Ola are a huge draw at the attraction but can be elusive!  Check out the big screen above the tank for times when they are away from public viewing & aim for feeding times when you’ve more chance of seeing them out front.

Plan Ahead; situated within a condensed space, you can navigate around the attraction relatively quickly so we suggest you plan around feeding times & talks to add value to your visit.  Events run throughout the day & are highlighted on the screen once you’ve passed through the ticket kiosks.  Take note of times and locations to help you plan out your time.

Navigation; take some time to get your bearings as feeding times & talks take place at various points around the setting.  You may need to backtrack at times to ensure you catch each one.

VR Experience; located at the half way point, you’ll come across the additional cost VR Underwater Explorer experience.  You can purchase tickets prior to your visit should you wish to add this to your visit and look out for passholder discounts.

Food & Picnics; unfortunately picnics are not permitted at SEA LIFE Birmingham as you’ll find limited seating within. Without an on-site cafe, you’re limited to a vending machine for snacks & drinks.  As you’ll likely make your way around the attraction within 1-2  hours, it is best to plan to eat either side of your visit.

Drinks; worth remembering a few bottles of water for the children as it can get quite warm as you make your way around the setting.
