As you arrive, avoid being directed off to the Kingdom Quest ride as you can do this later in the day when queues are reduced. Instead turn left into the main arena, signposted for Miniland, that gives you free range to the busiest areas of the attraction before capacity increases. As Miniland is a free-flow attraction it doesn’t tend to get too busy, so worth heading straight to the areas where the queues build quickly; Merlin’s Apprentice, Kingdom Quest Laser Ride & LEGO Racers.

There are a number additional cost activities not included within standard entry including a LEGO VR Experience & a Master Model Builder Experience. When booking online, you can add these to your standard admission as you move through the transaction process. Capacity; intersperse the popular rides with good capacity areas such as the 4D Cinema, Miniland, Ninjago City Adventure Play Area & Toddler Play Areas.
Parking; great to see parking remains FREE outside this attraction. The closest car park within the Trafford Centre for SEA LIFE or LEGOLAND Discovery Centre within Barton Square.
Lockers; there are no lockers or storage facilities available at this attraction.
Quiet Sessions; look out for relaxed quiet sessions that run throughout the year.
Adults Only; during normal opening times adults do need to be accompanied by a child to gain entrance. Look at for Adult Only sessions that running on selected evenings throughout the year.
Toddler Tickets; during off-peak times, look out for their Adult & Pre-Schoolers ticket that offer discounted entry for 1 adult & child 5 years & under & remember under 2’s already go free.

Can I use a 2 for 1 voucher for Legoland discovery centre and sea life 2 attraction ticket together and can I book both visits for the same day?
Hi Patty, 2 for 1 vouchers for Legoland Discovery Centre can only be used against single entry standard price tickets and not in conjunction with multi attraction tickets, sorry. Multi-attraction tickets allow you to book your second visit within 90 days of your initial visit. You may be able to visit both on the same day but this is subject to availability- you will receive your a booking link for your second attraction once you have purchased a multi attraction ticket so you can check availability, Liz

Hi Tony, you can purchase a multi attraction ticket online at LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Birmingham that combines entry to LDC & Warwick Castle with tickets priced from £37.95pp when booked in advance. With this multi attraction ticket you simply choose the date & time for your visit to LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Birmingham. You can then book your date and entry time for Warwick Castle either straight away, (simply follow the link after you checkout or through your confirmation email), or within 90 days of purchase. If you have a particular date in mind to visit Warwick Castle, best to book in advance to ensure availability. There is also the option to add a visit to SEA LIFE Birmingham too as a third attraction. This multi attraction ticket is only available for LEGOLAND Discovery Centre and cannot be purchased from Warwick Castle, Liz

Hi Bridie, we are independent of all Merlin Attractions but good to know that you can purchase a 2 attraction ticket that includes both SEA LIFE and LEGOLAND Discovery Centre…and you have a generous amount of time to the visit the second attraction. Ticket prices vary depending upon the age of your children and date of your visit.
Just used your tips for beating the queues and got ages in the centre before the queues built at legoland. Even used our Merlin pass to save on out snacks. Great site…thanks.
